The Bison Hide leather is processed in a more unique way that makes the Old World Tannage more eco-friendly than other modern tanning methods. Our tanner has spent nearly 25 years perfecting this tannage. He has a great respect for the way things were done when hides were tanned one at a time by hand, the way they were hundreds of years ago.
Our Bison has a rustic, and at the same time, a rich and classy look. There is a uniqueness of the Bison that many Americans can relate too. A natural grain, NOT embossed, stamped or plated. There is an appreciation of the natural character that Bison is known for. From large to small pebble grains to natural scarring. The other aspect that Americans love in the Old World Tannage; is our Bison are tanned in the Good Old Midwest, USA!
